Certain services provided by your doctor are not covered by the NHS and you will be asked to pay a fee, eg travel vaccination including yellow fever, pre-employment medicals, insurance claims, holiday certificates, private medicals, private certificates, fitness to drive medicals etc. We also act as examiners for several life insurance companies. Should we be asked to examine you for their purposes the company will be responsible for the fee.
Fees chargeable are in line with current British Medical Association recommendations. For a list of the fees, please see the poster in reception or ask at reception.
Please note, all private work can take up to 30 days to complete due to NHS work taking priority, although we do endeavour to complete as soon as possible.
